THE WILD FLOWER
~Vz Vualnam Tuni a munkhat a ka va vaakleh loupa paak khat ka mu a.... As I walked about The ruins of Vikramshila Where in the far past Wisdom poured forth And flooded the plain Like the mighty Ganges That flows by its side now does People throng The place in great number To see the mighty structure In ruinsAs I kept walking A humble wild flower Did I seeBy the side of the path While no one stopped by To admire its beauty I sat dawn beside it To behold the tiny damsel In all its grandeur‘ No one might stop by To admire thy beauty Sorrowest thou not For here I am Who stopped to admire Thy unmatched beauty Thou art more lovely Than those in the garden That man prune each morn’ I whisperedAs I stood to leave A thought crossed my mind Do we each day live With our eyes fixed On the big things about And miss to admire The small thing that outweight The beauty and grandeur Of the big thing ©SIAMSINNA LEH VA
